What you will do
- Execute master data operations for primarily the Japan market in line with service-level agreements, compliance requirements, internal audit controls, and SOX standards.
- Support data quality activities, resolve complex process issues, and maintain complete process documentation.
- Prepare operational metrics and dashboards and provide insights to improve departmental performance.
- Collaborate with business users, data governance teams, technology partners, and Japan-based stakeholders.
- Implement process improvements, innovative initiatives, and tools that strengthen master data operations.
- Lead projects and departmental objectives and provide on-the-job training for new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Business fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Japan-based business stakeholders, customers, and functional partners.
- Experience supporting multinational, cross-functional teams in a global environment is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting the Japan market or working with Japanese business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Japanese business processes, customer or vendor data, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Informatica MDM, JDE, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience with business transformations, ERP deployments, or process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with automation, analytics, AI-enabled solutions, or digital tools.
