Data Management Senior Consultant (Workforce Analytics)

Location: Manila, Philippines; onsite full-time role

What you will do

• Execute and improve data governance routines, including data quality checks, lineage updates, access reviews, metadata stewardship, and retention management.
• Maintain standardized business definitions, KPI calculations, glossary entries, and data catalog records across dashboards and reports.
• Monitor data quality, ETL/ELT pipelines, refreshes, and scheduled reporting jobs; investigate anomalies and resolve or escalate incidents.
• Provide second-line support for data product inquiries, manage tickets and SLAs, and explain data and reporting topics to users.
• Create data dictionaries, FAQs, guides, release notes, and training materials to support self-service analytics and data literacy.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams on minor enhancements, performance tuning, reliability improvements, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data operations, BI/analytics, or data governance.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and intermediate SQL skills.
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and tools, plus familiarity with data cataloging, glossary management, metadata, and lineage.
• Experience with data quality dimensions and controls, including designing or operating data quality checks.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Microsoft data stack, including Power BI, Azure Synapse, Fabric, ADF, or Purview.
• Knowledge of semantic models, tabular models, DAX, and measure design principles.
• Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA and support workflows involving SLAs, priorities, and escalation.
• Familiarity with privacy and security frameworks, scripting with PowerShell or Python, and CI/CD for BI artifacts.
