What you will do

  • Translate, edit, proofread, and perform LQA for game localization content.
  • Work across Chinese, English, and Japanese source languages and multiple target languages.
  • Use memoQ with Translation Memory and Termbase resources.
  • Follow project Style Guides and incorporate feedback and requirements from Project Managers.
  • Complete a short test translation before formal employment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of game localization experience or a cumulative project volume of 100,000+ words.
  • Proficiency with memoQ and familiarity with Translation Memory and Termbase.
  • Strong attention to detail, patience, and the ability to follow style and quality requirements.
  • High responsiveness and schedule flexibility for freelance cooperation.
  • Native or native-level proficiency in the target language is preferred.
