Credentialing & Payor Enrollment Supervisor (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. Travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs dictate.

Salary: $69,400–$104,100 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Supervise daily provider credentialing and payor enrollment workflows across provider, group, and facility activities.
• Lead, coach, train, and coordinate the workload of Provider Credentialing Specialists.
• Oversee credentialing, recredentialing, enrollment, revalidation, maintenance, termination, roster submission, and ownership change activities.
• Monitor work queues, aging reports, application progress, payer follow-up, quality, and compliance metrics.
• Investigate complex credentialing, enrollment, documentation, data, and payer escalations.
• Prepare leadership reports and support process improvements, quality controls, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Revenue Cycle Management, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of provider credentialing, payor enrollment, or closely related healthcare operations experience.
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Experience with commercial and governmental payer credentialing or enrollment processes and provider data management systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory, accreditation, payer, delegated credentialing, CMS, and internal policy requirements.
• Residence in and authorization to work within the United States are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with delegated credentialing, NCQA standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Experience supporting multi-state provider, group, or facility credentialing and payor enrollment.
• Experience leading centralized shared-services credentialing or payor enrollment operations.
• Professional certification in credentialing, provider enrollment, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle management.
