Assoc Client Services Rep (Credentialing Specialist/Provider Enrollment Specialist) (Healthcare)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with 1 day in the office and 4 remote days. Applicants anywhere in the United States may also be considered. Work must be performed within the United States, and applicants must be U.S. residents.

Salary: $37,400–$93,600 annual base pay, with potential additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits depending on the position.

What you will do

• Prepare provider credentialing information, applications, files, and documents for contracted health plans.
• Perform primary source verifications and resolve discrepancies with practitioners and internal or external entities.
• Enter, reconcile, and maintain accurate provider credentialing data in web-based databases.
• Prepare credentialing committee materials, facilitate meetings, and record minutes.
• Review scanned provider documents, maintain contract files, and support annual payer audits.
• Coordinate with payers to obtain provider effective dates and contribute to policy reviews and process improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of credentialing experience, preferably in a delegated credentialing environment.
• NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist certification preferred or in progress.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify important information in credentialing documents.
• Experience with data entry, databases, problem-solving, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to manage confidential information, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing demands.
• Must reside and work within the United States.
