AI Product Senior Director

Location: New York City; hybrid role

Salary: $230,000–$302,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus, long-term incentives, and stock participation.

What you will do

• Own one or more AI product workstreams end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and outcomes.
• Build consumer-facing and enterprise AI products, including chat experiences, agentic marketing workflows, automation, and product development tools.
• Prototype with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, and modern agent frameworks.
• Design and operate evaluation systems covering golden sets, offline evaluations, online experiments, drift detection, regression detection, and human-rater pipelines.
• Partner with business stakeholders, FDEs, AI software engineering pods, AI Platform, Trust & Safety, Responsible AI, and Legal.
• Mentor AI product managers and establish AI-native product management practices across the organization.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years shipping AI or LLM-powered products in production.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building prototypes, agents, evaluation systems, MCP servers, or pull requests with modern AI development tools.
• Strong technical depth, including the ability to read and write code, participate in system design discussions, and work with evaluation notebooks.
• Working knowledge of MCP, orchestration patterns, tool use, retrieval, context engineering, prompt evaluation, and runtime observability.
• Experience operating as a player-coach and designing or operating ML or LLM evaluation systems at meaningful scale.
• Strong written communication skills and experience producing one-pagers, decision memos, RFCs, and postmortems.
