Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Work location: 100% onsite.

Salary: $50,000.00–$62,853.73 per year.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care by obtaining and recording vital signs, pain screens, weights, heights, and patient condition changes.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens while instructing patients and families on collection procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures when applicable and assist nursing and medical staff with clinical procedures.
• Transport patients, specimens, medical records, blood components, equipment, and supplies according to institute policies.
• Support clinic operations by preparing medical records, stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and maintaining the patient care environment.
• Communicate wait times, patient concerns, and changes in patient status to providers, patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Two years of equivalent experience in a medical setting required.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be preferred depending on the location.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, technical, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical setting with patients of all ages and complex needs.
