Medical Assistant (Healthcare)

Location: On-site at the New York City clinic, 5 days per week; no nights or weekends

Salary: $66,000–$71,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to deliver personalized patient care.
• Perform lab draws, vital-sign measurements, physical exams, and other patient assessments.
• Prepare appointments by registering patients and setting up rooms and clinical equipment.
• Enter data, complete limited charting, and compile member data into custom reports.
• Support back-of-house clinical and administrative operations and coordinate the patient experience.
• Complete additional assigned tasks and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency with G Suite and adaptability to new software.
• Ability to work in the New York City clinic 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in a non-traditional healthcare environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
