Traveling Field Installation Superintendent

Location: Remote with 100% travel Monday–Friday across the United States; some weekend work and extended out-of-town stays may be required.

Salary: $85,000+ annually, dependent on experience and subject to cost-of-living adjustments. Annual performance bonus opportunity available.

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate field operations and installation for assigned construction projects.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, subcontractors, customers, and UFP facilities.
• Review plans, specifications, construction documents, and shop drawings; develop and communicate framing schedules.
• Monitor project progress, materials, costs, quality, and contract compliance to support timely completion.
• Conduct safety, cleanup, and quality audits; maintain organized and safe job sites.
• Represent UFP with customers and subcontractors and coordinate project communications across Sales, Design, Production, and Transportation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of lumber, engineered wood products, architectural millwork installation, new construction, and applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license, forklift operator’s license, and Medical First Aid and CPR certificate, or ability to obtain them within 60 days.
• Ability to travel extensively, work on-site in demanding conditions, remain on foot throughout the day, lift 50 pounds, and pass a drug test.
