TL;DR
Solution Architect (Azure): Defining and governing end-to-end cloud and enterprise architectures with an accent on scalability, security, resiliency, integration, and cost efficiency. Focus on modernizing legacy systems, leading cloud migration and refactoring, designing distributed solutions, and balancing business priorities with long-term technical sustainability.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; onsite role. Relocation to Argentina could be considered. Expatriate assignments will not be considered. Employment visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates with time-limited visa status will not be considered.

What you will do
- Define end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise strategy, covering scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Own architectural decisions and evaluate build, buy, and reuse options based on cost, complexity, time-to-market, and risk.
- Create architecture diagrams, integration patterns, data flows, and decision records.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance, compliance, and technical risk management across the solution lifecycle.
- Guide engineering teams and collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support legacy modernization, cloud migration, refactoring, operational readiness, resiliency, and production supportability.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud architecture and Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, integration, and data services.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, API-led integration, distributed systems, and complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of resiliency, disaster recovery, high availability, failover, backup, and recovery patterns.
- Experience with PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, legacy modernization, cloud migration, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, governance, compliance, risk management, and architecture documentation skills.
- Experience influencing distributed engineering teams, mentoring engineers, and working in Agile delivery models.
