Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas, United States. The role combines office and manufacturing floor work and requires movement throughout the facility and use of PPE in designated production areas.

Salary: $39,424–$49,280 annually.

What you will do

  • Support manufacturing process improvement and continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with equipment validation, process qualification, production trials, process studies, and equipment performance evaluations.
  • Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, reports, presentations, visual management tools, and other engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, engineers, and technicians.
  • Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a highly regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Biomedical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering project experience through coursework or previous internships.
