Staff Power Architect – System Design (Power Electronics): Defining and leading architectures for PMIC and advanced DC/DC converter products from concept through silicon validation with an accent on system modeling, power sequencing, stability, transient response, and fault analysis. Focus on aligning analog, digital, verification, validation, test, and product engineering teams while reducing silicon risk through model-based design and system-level debug.

What you will do
- Define and own architectures for PMIC and advanced DC/DC converter products across multiple programs.
- Drive architecture trade-offs, operating modes, startup and shutdown sequencing, and system boundary conditions.
- Lead architecture reviews and guide the transition from architecture definition to design execution.
- Develop and maintain low-level and system-level models using Simplis and related tools.
- Analyze stability, transient response, fault behavior, and corner cases to reduce silicon risk.
- Provide technical guidance during silicon validation, system-level debugging, and cross-functional design reviews.
Requirements
- Strong experience with PMICs, DC/DC converters, or mixed-signal power systems.
- Experience defining and analyzing architectures for power management products.
- Familiarity with Simplis and Simulink modeling tools.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate across analog design, digital, verification, validation, test, applications, and product engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and architecture reviews.
Nice to have
- Experience with advanced power converter programs or emerging Multi-Level Converter topologies.
- Familiarity with multi-rail power systems and power sequencing.
- Experience supporting silicon bring-up, validation, and root-cause analysis.
