Talent Development Specialist (WIOA)

What you will do

• Conduct individual assessments and provide career guidance and counseling, particularly for WIOA-eligible job seekers.
• Manage customer cases and support participants in preparing for employment and achieving self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate supportive services such as childcare and transportation while tracking funding obligations.
• Maintain and develop relationships with community resources, employers, agencies, nonprofits, and partner organizations.
• Place eligible participants into subsidized employment and follow up on their progress, including submitting payroll information.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering program progress, expenditures, employment, and support services.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least one year of sales or customer service experience; an associate degree is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, speaking, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and address customer questions or concerns.
• Ability to conduct workshops and orientations.
• Current driver's license with a low-risk driver rating and automobile liability insurance required.
