Location: USA remote and field-based travel within the assigned East, Central, or West U.S. region. Regular travel to customer sites is required, with up to 75% of working time spent on construction or installation sites. Work must align with the respective regional time zone. The main office is in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and extended work at customer installation locations is required.
Salary: $82,000–$113,300 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do
- Start up, commission, configure, and test PLC-controlled equipment, controllers, HMI systems, and control cabinets.
- Establish reliable HMI-to-PLC communication and integrate robotic systems with customer Warehouse Management Systems.
- Execute end-to-end hardware, software, functionality, safety, and system integration testing.
- Load and configure software, validate performance against project specifications, and make adjustments for customer requirements.
- Use diagnostic tools, Remote Desktop, SSH, and web browsers to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, software, technicians, and customer support teams during commissioning and system go-live.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, robotics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with PLC and HMI systems, including Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and PanelView Plus.
- Familiarity with ABB or Fanuc robotics and industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP and PROFINET.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows, plus the ability to troubleshoot systems remotely.
- Must be located within an assigned U.S. region, travel regularly to customer sites, hold a valid driver’s license, and work in construction-site environments.

- Hands-on experience with motion-control equipment such as variable frequency drives.
