Director of Manufacturing (Quantum Hardware)

Base salary: $165,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Own manufacturing planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and on-time delivery commitments.
• Lead, coach, and grow the manufacturing organization.
• Partner with engineering on design-for-manufacturability and new product introductions.
• Define and improve operational metrics covering delivery, inventory, material costs, and build cycle time.
• Own the ERP/MRP implementation, including BOMs, routings, planning parameters, and inventory transactions.
• Manage demand and materials planning, supplier quality, manufacturing budgets, capital plans, and supply-chain risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams.
• Experience taking complex hardware from prototype through repeatable production.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP ownership, including an implementation, migration, or major module rollout.
• Experience building planning and inventory processes in a low-volume, high-mix hardware environment.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA, lean, quality management, and executive communication.
