Product Manager (AI)

Location: NYC, United States; on-site

Salary: $305,000–$385,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Define the Artifacts roadmap, including executive summaries, insight-generating documents, and interactive results experiences.
• Lead engineers and product designers in creating products based on simulation results.
• Set evaluation and launch criteria for AI-generated deliverables.
• Turn one-off customer deliverables into reusable templates and platform primitives.
• Debug model behavior and reasoning failures with research teams while identifying gaps in platform capabilities.
• Instrument adoption, trust, and quality, and present product strategy to executives, customers, and partners.

Requirements

• Experience as a product manager for analytics or document platforms.
• Experience owning a roadmap that includes improving model performance in the product.
• Experience building products for users with a wide range of technical competency.
• Strong perspectives on how AI and data interact.
• Ability to collaborate closely with researchers, product designers, engineers, customers, and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site in NYC.

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM-powered content generation pipelines, including automated report prose, insight extraction, or agentic document creation.
• Experience producing or automating consulting-grade deliverables at a strategy firm, analytics vendor, or customer-facing BI product.
• Founder or early product management experience at a fast-growing company.
• Experience contributing code or working deeply enough in the stack to discuss architecture and evaluation design credibly.
• Experience working with data scientists or researchers during product development.
