Junior Project Manager

Location: On-site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, USA

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee project execution, track progress, and review process modification decisions.
• Develop project plans for short-term and temporary initiatives.
• Prepare management status reports for the Contracting Officer’s Representative and program leadership.
• Develop and implement a Quality Control Plan to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate contractor staffing, security matters, and access to controlled facilities.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and respond to system failures, safety hazards, and substandard conditions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of process mapping, process reengineering, workflow analysis, and process analysis or design within IT organizations.
• Technical qualification in administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and engineering procedures.
• Technical proficiency with configuration, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of OSP, NIPRNET, SIPRNET systems and devices, and telephone services.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Active Security+ certification required.
• Availability during contract phase-in on a part-time basis, transitioning to full-time by the contract start date; availability within 30 minutes during normal duty hours and within two hours after hours when notified.
