Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI)

What you will do

• Translate business reporting and analytics requirements into BI solutions, specifications, and data requirements.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, analytical outputs, and semantic models.
• Define and maintain KPIs, reporting metrics, and business definitions.
• Analyse complex datasets and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Investigate data-quality issues and collaborate with data engineers, application teams, and business users to resolve them.
• Establish reporting governance, including change-request gates, report certification, report retirement, subscriptions, and status-rule scorecards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics.
• Advanced hands-on Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, workspace and app administration, and semantic modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational datasets, data modelling, transformations, and BI architecture.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements, building management reporting, and resolving data-quality issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• English proficiency: B2–C1.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or mentoring BI or data analysts.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and the wider Microsoft data platform, including Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or Quality data.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting data-governance or reporting-governance initiatives.
