TL;DR

Associate Manager of Product Development (Identity Platform) (.NET/Azure): Supporting secure, scalable authentication and authorization services while leading a product development team, with an accent on hands-on C#/.NET development, cloud identity platforms, and customer-facing integrations. Focus on guiding the Identity Platform roadmap, migrating Azure Service Fabric workloads to Kubernetes, and resolving complex system and performance issues.

Location: Hybrid role in Herndon, United States

Salary: $120,000–$204,000 USD per year

What you will do

Support the technical direction of the hirify.global Identity Platform through hands-on development and pull request reviews.
Set objectives, prioritize work, assign responsibilities, and track delivery milestones for the product development team.
Mentor software engineers through coaching, code reviews, and performance feedback.
Partner with product management to define and execute the Identity Platform roadmap.
Support identity provider integrations and customer adoption with ERP partners and customers.
Contribute to cloud infrastructure initiatives, including migration from Azure Service Fabric to shared Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on C# and .NET development experience, including scalable RESTful APIs with Entity Framework or EF Core.
5+ years delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Service Fabric and Cosmos DB.
Experience with identity and access management platforms, including Microsoft Entra.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex system and performance issues.
Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency with Git, modern branching strategies, Agile or Scrum methodologies, secure coding, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

Experience migrating infrastructure from Azure Service Fabric to Kubernetes.
Experience delivering customer-facing identity integrations with third-party identity providers.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
