Solutions Architect (Big Data Analytics)

Location: Milan region, Italy, within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule; travel up to 30% required

What you will do

• Build successful relationships with clients throughout Italy in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Demonstrate how big data analytics solutions address complex customer challenges.
• Create reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications.
• Lead customer workshops, seminars, and meet-ups while supporting the regional Databricks community.

Requirements

• Experience engaging customers in technical sales and communicating technical and business value propositions.
• Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with big data analytics technologies, complex proofs of concept, and public cloud platforms.
• Experience discovering use cases, scoping solutions, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences.
• Business proficiency in Italian and English is required.
• Must be based in the Milan region and available for a hybrid schedule, with travel up to 30%.
