Rotor System Design H225/H215 Work Package Manager (H/F) (Aerospace)

Location: Marseille Area, based at the Marignane site in France

hirify.global develops and manufactures helicopters and aerospace systems, with the Marignane site focused on helicopter production and engineering.

What you will do

• Lead the Rotor System Design work package for H225/H215, initially focused on Super Puma rotor systems.
• Coordinate a team of specialist engineers and manage stakeholder, customer, workload, and make-or-buy design activities.
• Lead the design and redesign of complex rotor systems while meeting safety, performance, manufacturability, assembly, and reliability requirements.
• Steer substantiation activities and participate in flight, ground, and bench testing from preparation through final conclusions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including Permit to Fly documents, and conduct technical discussions with EASA and other airworthiness authorities.
• Drive maintenance engineering, preserve rotor technology knowledge, and potentially act as Technical Verification Engineer for critical deliverables.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• More than 10 years of experience in the aeronautical industry and engineering.
• Strong synthesis skills, rigor, product and operations orientation, leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced English and negotiation-level French are required.
• Experience with rotor system design, certification, engineering leadership, or hirify.global Helicopters design offices is advantageous.
• The position requires completion of a security-clearance questionnaire.

• More than five years of experience in an hirify.global Helicopters design office.
• Certification experience.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• German language skills.
