Senior Cyber Threat Hunter-1 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the USA; final-round interviews onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and report threats and hidden events across the enterprise network.
• Use penetration testing tools and techniques to find vulnerabilities in systems, applications, servers, and networks.
• Develop and support information security activities, processes, and tools.
• Collect, analyze, and present digital evidence for computer criminal investigations.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation lasting one week every two months.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of information security experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with information technology concepts, terminology, and standards.
• Knowledge of malicious code, Windows, Linux, Unix, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and the OSI Reference Model.
• Knowledge of networking and information security components, including routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points, IPS, IDS, WAF, and SIEM.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessments and security incident handling, with strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
