Field Services Team Lead (Environmental)

Location: Dayton, New Jersey, USA; field work across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Compensation: $27–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities, schedules, and resources of Environmental Field Technicians.
• Perform environmental sampling and field measurements at landfills, Superfund and remediation sites, industrial facilities, ports, and ocean-going vessels.
• Engage directly with clients to support project execution and service quality.
• Maintain field records, chain-of-custody documentation, sample integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Enforce safe work practices and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of environmental field sampling experience involving groundwater, monitoring wells, drinking water, wastewater, soil, air, emissions, or composite sampling.
• Working knowledge of NJDEP and other regional environmental sampling requirements and best practices.
• Experience leading field personnel and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in industrial, marine, and outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
