What you will do

• Lead the surface analysis area using XPS, AFM, Nanoindenter, FESEM-EDS, and surface profiler techniques.
• Develop analytical test methods based on fundamental understanding of materials and products.
• Support conductive tape and industrial adhesive product development for electronic component applications.
• Provide surface and interfacial analysis solutions for customer complaint investigations, manufacturing troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and durability studies.
• Collaborate with the Adhesive Technology team, global surface-analysis experts, and multidisciplinary R&D organizations.
• Drive data analytics capability development and deployment of analytical solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 3–5+ years of experience, or a Ph.D., in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct industry or professional experience.
• Hands-on expertise in surface analysis, including XPS, AFM, FESEM-EDS, nano-characterization, and interfacial chemical-change analysis.
• Basic understanding of mobile electronics or electronic components.
• Experience collaborating with global analytical colleagues on complex multidisciplinary problem-solving and R&D implementation.
• Strong English technical documentation, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
