Senior Compensation Analyst (Legal)

What you will do

• Lead compensation benchmarking and market analysis using legal industry surveys and compensation databases.
• Design salary, bonus, and compensation structures for associates, shareholders, and business services staff.
• Lead annual merit increase and bonus planning cycles from analysis through implementation.
• Manage job evaluations and role-leveling frameworks across departments.
• Partner with HR leadership and practice group leaders, presenting compensation recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead pay equity audits, monitor regulatory compliance, manage survey vendors, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or total rewards.
• Strong knowledge of compensation regulations, benchmarking, and survey tools.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring staff.
• CCP or SHRM certification required, or certification actively in progress.
