Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and manage cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, access management, Infrastructure as Code, and cost optimization.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters adapted to Data Science workloads.
• Develop Python server-side tools, including bulk data processing, REST APIs, and authentication services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment of Data Science projects at client sites.
• Develop ETL scripts in Big Data environments and implement infrastructure and services for machine-learning model development and deployment.
• Work on client projects and hirify.global’s internal AI solutions in collaboration with the French Data Engineering team.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a strong quantitative component, such as econometrics, physics, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Good Python skills, knowledge of another programming language, and familiarity with SQL databases; PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Terraform.
• Experience implementing application protection, including certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2 authentication, and credential management.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB, GitLab CE, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Experience combining multiple cloud services within one project.
