Data Engineering Associate

What you will do

• Engineer technical solutions for digital marketing, e-commerce, Business Intelligence, and self-service analytics challenges.
• Collect functional and non-functional requirements while accounting for technical environments, business constraints, and enterprise structures.
• Design and build operational data platforms, including ETL pipelines, data anonymization pipelines, data lakes, streaming data hubs, web services, and machine learning model training and scoring systems.
• Collaborate with partners, strategy consultants, and data scientists in a flat, agile organization.
• Share data engineering knowledge through technical training and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in data analytics.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles, including ODS, data marts, data lakes, data vault, and 3NF.
• Advanced SQL, data transformation, data profiling, and production ETL/ELT pipeline development skills.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Functions, App Logic, and other data analytics services, including streaming.
• Experience with Airflow, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Programming experience with Python, PySpark, and Bash, plus a relevant bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• A master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
