MedTech Part Time Clinical Consultant – Ann Arbor, MI (MedTech)

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States; regular in-field support is required, including work at other hospitals.

Salary: $60.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide case support for ventricular medical devices, including on-call coverage.
• Manage and round on patients receiving device support.
• Deliver medical device education in ICU, OR, Cath Lab, and other clinical settings.
• Develop product and therapy knowledge and support new and existing client accounts.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center and maintain clinical competency through ongoing education.
• Travel to and work at other hospitals as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of strong clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab; CVICU experience is highly preferred.
• Significant ventricular medical device experience, including support for at least 10 cases or patients.
• RN or APP license is strongly preferred; perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also considered.
• Must provide at least 2 days of live field support and 5 days of availability per month, including 1 weekend.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights, holidays, weekdays, and at hospitals beyond the base location.
