Support Specialist I (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Remote within British Columbia, Canada; regular full-time hours based on Pacific Standard Time.

Targeted compensation: CAD $22 per hour. Compensation range: CAD $18.10–$27.05 per hour.

Provides energy efficiency and sustainability programs focused on reducing emissions and improving energy affordability for communities.

What you will do

• Respond to inbound calls and emails from program participants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide accurate information about residential energy affordability and greenhouse gas reduction program requirements.
• Help residents understand their needs and identify suitable energy-saving solutions for their homes.
• Support application reviews and complete administrative tasks.
• Meet performance targets, including hold times and after-call wrap-up time.

Requirements

• Must be located in British Columbia, Canada.
• 0–1 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, or building science.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support. Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Nice to have

• Call centre experience.
• Post-secondary education.
• Oral fluency in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Punjabi, or Tagalog.
