New Build Deployment Enablement Manager (Data Center Network Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, Virginia, United States; travel required 15–30% to data center campuses for site visits and workshops.

Salary: $66,120–$104,400 USD gross annually, base pay only.

What you will do

• Own deployment trackers for assigned buildings and coordinate milestones from Cable Ready through Production Ready.
• Lead weekly coordination calls and align Construction, Design, Engineering, Network Deployment, and supporting teams.
• Coordinate infrastructure deployment across 2–4 concurrent buildings, including hardware delivery SLAs, material logistics, warehouses, and vendors.
• Identify schedule risks, manage deployment blockers and SEVs, and communicate revised timelines and impacts.
• Standardize templates, conduct lessons-learned reviews, and mentor incoming Deployment Enablement Managers.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data center network infrastructure, production network layers, and deployment processes including rack and stack, provisioning, circuit audits, device scanning, and activation or undrain workflows.
• Experience with hardware delivery SLAs, BOM management, warehouse operations, vendor coordination, and project tracking tools.
• 5–8 years of progressive project or program management experience in data center construction, network infrastructure, telecommunications, or critical facility deployment.
• Experience managing $1M–$10M projects with concurrent workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience with data center construction phases, MSPs, and field operations teams; ability to obtain site access badges and pass facility background checks.
• Ability to support critical milestones outside standard hours and hands-on experience with AI tools and agentic frameworks for workflow automation and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in a hyperscale data center environment such as Google, AWS, Microsoft, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, telecommunications, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• PMP, CAPM, CSM, BICSI RCDD, CDCDP, or similar certifications.
