Continuous Improvement Leader (DBSL)

What you will do

• Lead deployment of the hirify.global Business System across the Newquay site to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity performance.
• Use DBS and lean tools including Daily Management, VSM, 5S, Standard Work, TPM, SMED, TPI, VRK, and Lean Conversion.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly Operations meetings while coaching teams in structured problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Create and sustain Policy Deployment frameworks, Bowler Charts, Action Plans, and problem-solving processes based on manufacturing KPI analysis.
• Manage Kaizen funnels, DBS leadership processes, roadblocks, and optimization work packages across site functions.
• Develop and maintain a DBS roadmap for the site’s functional areas.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Business, professional engineering certification, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Experience with process improvement using lean manufacturing methodology, combined with project management and business process analysis.
• Proven ability to optimize Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity KPIs.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, coach, and influence across departments and organizational levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multitasking environment with a customer-first attitude.
• Inspirational, approachable, optimistic, and humble leadership style.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• High-level presentation and interpersonal skills for communicating ideas to customers and building strategic relationships.
• Experience with Kanban, Heijunka, inventory reduction, inventory turns, waste elimination, and productivity improvement.
