Group Lead Data and Process Management (Pharma)

Location: Hyderabad, India. Permanent full-time role with travel as required by business needs.

What you will do

• Lead commercial analytics, data management, and process initiatives across global business units and team management centers.
• Develop data strategies, governance frameworks, demand-planning approaches, and resource-allocation models.
• Build or support centralized data solutions and establish effective ways of working with onshore teams.
• Manage and develop high-performing data management and analytics teams, including coaching team leads and managers.
• Drive operational excellence, process innovation, quality improvements, and business continuity planning.
• Build stakeholder relationships and translate complex analytical insights into actionable business decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical-industry experience with commercial analytics, data management, data strategy, data stewardship, data quality, and data governance.
• Experience managing teams or functions and working across global business units, diverse functions, and time zones.
• Strong understanding of commercial operations, business KPIs, forecasting, omnichannel strategy, market access, and sales force operations.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Informatica, Dataiku, Smartsheet, or Alteryx; expert Excel and VBA skills.
• Experience developing dashboards, managing multiple projects, synthesizing complex information, and presenting actionable insights.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required. An advanced degree in management, statistics, decision sciences, engineering, life sciences, business analytics, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SPSS, Q, or similar statistical and programming tools.
• Experience with pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing functions.
• Knowledge of IQVIA, APLD, DDD, Value Centric, OneKey, Evaluate, DRG, or similar business databases.
