Senior Manager, Equity Administration

Overview

As Senior Manager, Equity Administrator, you will lead the equity team responsible for Riot’s Equity programs, including change management, scaling, and financial reporting. You will oversee equity administration, maintain operational processes within Riot’s Global Equity program, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategies for equity programs.

What you will do

• Facilitate all aspects of equity programs, including processing new grants, vesting, and distributions.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of equity data in the equity system, including tax reporting.
• Provide stock administration expertise and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Generate and maintain reporting of stock-based compensation data for accounting and audits.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Legal, and People teams to ensure efficiency in equity-related processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Human Resources.
• 7+ years of stock plan administration experience.
• 3+ years in a management role overseeing a team.
• Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and statutes related to compensation.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or similar certification.
• Experience with a stock repurchase and share exchange programs.
• Public and private equity management experience.
