Junior Accountant - General Ledger

Location: Hybrid, Iasi office three days per week

What you will do

• Record business transactions accurately in the general ledger using accrual-based accounting.
• Prepare timely journal entries according to IFRS and local GAAP.
• Provide accounting input for month-end and year-end closing.
• Support external and tax audits with information requested by senior team members.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in general ledger accounting and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another finance-related discipline.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS is desirable.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Advanced English at B2–C1+ level is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365.
