Experienced Accountant (Climate Technology)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; hybrid work with a flexible schedule.

What you will do

• Supervise daily financial data entry in the ERP system and prepare journal entries.
• Manage general ledger account reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of financial records.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare financial data for management review.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Review and present financial reports for compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Develop ad-hoc reports, support special projects, and contribute to accounting policy and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant general accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Legal authorization to work in Romania is required; visa sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial software and Oracle.
• Regional accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and IFRS.
