MedTech Part Time Clinical Consultant (South Louisiana and NE Texas)

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana; clinical coverage across South Louisiana and Northeast Texas, including hospital-based support and travel

What you will do

• Provide case support for ventricular medical devices, including on-call coverage.
• Deliver medical device education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings.
• Manage patients, complete proactive rounds, and assist supported accounts.
• Develop product and therapy knowledge and apply it to clinical cases.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center for additional support.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuous learning and education.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of strong clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab; CVICU experience is highly preferred.
• Significant ventricular medical device experience, with at least 10 supported cases or patients.
• RN or APP license is strongly preferred; perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also considered.
• Provide at least 2 days of live field support and 5 days of availability per month, including 1 weekend per month.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays, and to support hospitals outside the base location.
• Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements and maintain current immunizations.
