Apprentice Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (Power Electronics)

Applications Engineering supports internal R&D teams with high-power electronics development, technical services, laboratory infrastructure, and system integration.

What you will do

• Assemble, populate, commission, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies.
• Support the development and characterization of gate driver systems and power semiconductors.
• Set up test benches for high-voltage and high-current applications and document measurements.
• Operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and electronic loads.
• Support measurement automation, laboratory infrastructure, mechanical prototyping, and CNC manufacturing.
• Assemble prototype PCBs, wire complex test benches, and integrate hardware into complete systems.

Requirements

• Good secondary school diploma at intermediate level or higher.
• Strong interest in electronics, technology, and physical principles, with basic mathematics and physics knowledge.
• Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and willing-to-learn working style.
• Careful handling of laboratory and high-voltage equipment with adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Initial hands-on experience with Python, Arduino, electronics repairs, or school projects is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Arduino, repairs, or school electronics projects.
• Interest in automotive, photovoltaic, data center, railway, or HVDC applications.
