Head of Business Continuity Manager (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Design and establish the Business Continuity Management programme across the designated country and international sites.
• Lead Business Impact Analyses, continuity planning, BCM policies, governance structures, and the multi-year BCM roadmap.
• Act as the National BCM Risk Owner and integrate threat and vulnerability assessments into the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Drive the programme toward ISO 22301 certification and maintain compliance with internal, international, regulatory, and corporate standards.
• Design mandatory training curricula and lead high-fidelity, cross-functional simulation exercises for all staff levels.
• Manage external BCM vendors, subcontracted services, operating budgets, and tactical support during incidents and post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience implementing and managing comprehensive country-level Business Continuity programmes and plans.
• Direct experience conducting Business Impact Analyses and developing localized continuity plans for critical business units.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small local team or managing cross-functional project teams.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, organizational, and implementation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001, or equivalent certification.
