Expert Business Analyst – Front and Middle Office Trading Systems (Financial Trading): Analyzing and improving front- and middle-office workflows, trading platform functionality, testing protocols, and reporting with an accent on complex financial products, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder requirements. Focus on mapping P&L, OTC trades, derivatives, FX, bonds, repos, and options processes, using SQL for data analysis, and supporting platform integration and testing.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Analyze and map front- and middle-office workflows covering P&L, OTC trades, credit products, interest rate swaps, CDS, bonds, repos, money markets, FX, and options.
- Design and implement testing protocols for new-product booking, valuation, platform integration, reporting, and business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize platform performance and support regulatory compliance.
- Gather stakeholder requirements, influence strategies, and drive process improvements across Trading and Operations.
- Develop documentation for system enhancements and operational procedures.
- Use SQL to analyze data, automate tasks, improve reporting accuracy, and identify issues during platform testing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of business analysis experience in front- and middle-office trading environments.
- Deep knowledge of credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, cash products, FX, and options.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience testing and mapping complex business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English at C1 level required.
- Legal right to work in the European Union required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Summit Front Office.
- Portuguese at B2 level.
- French at B2 level.
- Certification or additional training in financial analysis or project management.
