Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

Location: Hybrid Northamptonshire, United Kingdom — 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum

hirify.global is a technology recruitment company working with an established Microsoft Partner specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customisations and extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code.
• Translate requirements from functional consultants and stakeholders into technical specifications.
• Develop integrations with third-party systems and internal applications using APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple environments and support upgrades, data migrations, and deployments.
• Apply Business Central best practices across source control, testing, and DevOps.
• Lead development activities, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 8 years of Dynamics NAV and C/AL development experience.
• 5 years of Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL development experience.
• Strong experience with AL, C/AL, Visual Studio Code, Git, Business Central extensions, APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Experience with C/AL-to-AL conversions, Business Central architecture, extensions, and event-driven programming.
• Experience producing technical design specifications and understanding finance, warehousing, and inventory processes.
• Experience leading or mentoring developers, with strong problem-solving, independent working, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Azure DevOps.
• Functional Business Central experience.
• Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics Partner environment.
• Experience leading a development team and producing functional design documentation.
