Sr. Material Handler (Warehouse Lead)

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 100% onsite

What you will do

• Receive and inspect materials from vendors, subcontractors, and other sources.
• Stock materials according to established procedures and warehouse locations.
• Pull and issue parts for shop requirements and pick and ship customer orders.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies in SAP.
• Support receiving, stocking, picking, records, shipping, and material-handling activities.
• Run warehouse operations in the absence of the warehouse supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least four years of related warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory-control principles.
• Understanding of work instructions and applicable state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Must be able to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
• 100% onsite work is required in Columbus, Mississippi.

Nice to have

• IATA certification.
• Forklift or order-picker certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
