Material Handler

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States; onsite work at the Collamer and Enterprise facilities may be required.

Salary: $20.24–$23.32 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare, package, and ship domestic and international orders with the required documentation.
• Complete import paperwork and coordinate palletized shipments with freight forwarders.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, record, and reject goods that do not meet requirements.
• Pick, kit, and distribute production materials to departments and manufacturing lines.
• Organize inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and maintain the off-site warehouse.
• Obtain freight quotes and troubleshoot complex stockroom and inventory issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with packing, shipping, data entry, and commercial packaging practices.
• Working knowledge of Oracle MRP Inventory Management and Shipping/Receiving modules.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and solve problems analytically.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to access classified information; a government security investigation may be required.
• Ability to safely lift heavy items and operate a forklift.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Oracle or a similar accounting system.
• Forklift experience or certification.
