Sustainability Specialist (Wind Energy)

Location: Bremen, Germany; hybrid work with up to 60% remote work and willingness to travel to the headquarters in Northern Germany

Salary: €64,000–€68,000 gross annually for full-time employment

What you will do

• Implement, develop, and embed the company-wide sustainability strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and next steps.
• Develop customer-oriented sustainability solutions and value propositions with relevant functions.
• Coordinate international, cross-functional working groups and track sustainability and circularity initiatives.
• Monitor sustainability regulations, standards, market trends, competitors, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collect, consolidate, and assure the quality of sustainability KPIs for internal decision-making and performance tracking.
• Lead sustainability communications, including the annual sustainability highlight report, with Corporate Communications and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in sustainability or business administration, preferably with a focus on circularity, energy, climate change, or the environment.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in sustainability, energy, circularity, communication, auditing, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, and regulations such as CSRD and the Circular Economy Act.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong project management, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex sustainability topics clearly and engage stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German; international experience and intercultural awareness are preferred.
