Engineering Manager (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Translate infrastructure strategy into actionable roadmaps and lead initiatives to improve reliability and performance.
• Mentor and manage a high-performing, inclusive engineering team fostering career growth.
• Define and optimize team processes to ensure efficient delivery of platform improvements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to maintain system availability and developer experience.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Ads, Content, and ML teams to align infrastructure capabilities with company goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering or infrastructure roles.
• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English for daily collaboration.
• Strong organizational and communication skills supporting diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes clusters (1,000+ nodes).
• Background in developing and managing internal developer platforms or enterprise B2B products.
