Operations Supervisor (Distribution)

What you will do

• Lead a team of 40+ distribution-center team members through communication, coaching, engagement, recognition, and development.
• Manage daily work-unit activities covering safety, training, performance, labor planning, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production goals, staffing, labor utilization, productivity, and engineered standards.
• Analyze distribution data and KPIs to recommend process and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with Buying, Allocations, Quality Assurance, IT, Human Resources, Transportation, and corporate support teams.
• Resolve issues involving damages, shortages, and non-conformance with specifications or standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
• At least 2 years of supervising experience and 2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Knowledge of distribution KPIs, production reporting, and distribution processes.
• Leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience in an automated, conveyor-driven environment.
