What you will do
- Control live Flow Room performance across the shift, including availability, efficiency, OEE, service, accuracy, and downtime.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Flow Room shift team, including Technicians and Senior Technicians.
- Translate the daily operational plan into a flow strategy, balancing labour, capacity, priorities, and service requirements.
- Manage operational incidents, risks, escalations, root-cause understanding, corrective actions, and structured shift handovers.
- Coordinate with warehouse Operations, Engineering, IT, Planning, supervisors, and section managers to remove blockers and protect automation performance.
- Promote safe working practices, standard operating procedures, risk assessments, continuous improvement, and IT backlog prioritisation.
Requirements
- Experience leading operational teams in a warehouse, flow room, automation, or comparable operational environment.
- Ability to control live performance against operational KPIs and escalate risks quickly.
- Experience managing incidents, handovers, corrective actions, and cross-functional operational issues.
- Ability to coordinate labour, capacity, system constraints, and daily operational priorities.
