Government Marketing Manager (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with willingness to relocate to Berlin. Travel across Europe is expected approximately 20–30% of the time.

Space technology and AI solutions are used to analyse satellite data and deliver SaaS-based monitoring insights for infrastructure operators, industrial companies and government customers.

What you will do

• Develop government and defence positioning, messaging and value propositions for satellite analytics and the Twinspector satellite constellation.
• Create and maintain capability briefs, presentations, one-pagers and tender-support materials.
• Build strategic communications, content and PR, including white papers, expert articles, use cases, press releases and leadership visibility.
• Develop relationships with defence, security and space media across Germany and Europe.
• Own the European defence and government event calendar, including participation planning, budgets, speaking opportunities and lead follow-up.
• Create the Government marketing playbook, processes, templates and performance tracking in collaboration with business development and central marketing.

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of marketing, sales or similar experience in the defence or security sector.
• Generalist experience across product marketing, content, PR and events.
• Excellent German writing and editing skills at C1+ level, plus strong English.
• Understanding of government and defence communications, procurement processes, protocol, sensitivity and long sales cycles.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate to Berlin; eligible for security clearance, typically requiring EU or NATO citizenship.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% across Europe.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Earth observation, space or geospatial technology.
• Additional European languages, especially French.
• Public affairs or government relations experience.
