Consultant – SAP ABAP

What you will do

• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop SAP ABAP reports, enhancements, interfaces, and unit tests.
• Create development, testing, and implementation plans with accurate estimates.
• Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues across multiple functions.
• Manage multiple deliverables and projects while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, document customer needs, and communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients.

Requirements

• Proven SAP ABAP development experience, including custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, CDS views, and clean core development principles.
• Strong ABAP knowledge, including RIWCEF components, object-oriented programming, and ABAP 7.5 syntax.
• Experience with BADI, user exits, customer exits, implicit and explicit enhancements, Adobe Forms, and Smart Forms.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, ALV with IDA, RAP, OData v2, SAP Gateway, IDOCs, and proxies; familiarity with OData v4.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Output Management in S/4HANA and BRF+.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow, Fiori/UI5, and CDS views.
