Mechanical Engineer for Helicopter Maintenance Design (d/m/w)

hirify.global Defence and Space, through hirify.global Helicopters, develops and supports civil and military helicopter programs.

What you will do

• Own Design Office maintenance instructions and validate prototype Maintenance Technical Notes.
• Organize updates to prototype maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with BlueSky policy.
• Investigate maintenance-related incidents and accidents and support major incident treatment.
• Analyze maintainability, accessibility, ergonomics, and human factors to reduce maintenance risks and errors.
• Organize maintenance validation tests and contribute to procedure development and demonstration on helicopters.
• Coordinate with Design Office, Prototype Shop, Service & Support, Quality, flight crews, authorities, and customers while managing project cost, time, quality, planning, and risks.

Requirements

• Aerospace or mechanical engineering degree, or certification as an aircraft engineer.
• 5–10 years of professional experience.
• Experience with helicopter systems and helicopter maintenance.
• Basic CATIA V5 knowledge is essential; digital or on-helicopter maintainability and human factors analysis may be required.
• Strong communication, organization, accountability, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is essential, and eligibility for security clearance is required.
