PI / Cyber Underwriter, Financial Lines (Cyber)

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business through e-trading platforms.
• Assess risk using financial reports, company accounts, proposals, claims history, and company information.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers through regular communication and broker events.
• Use underwriting systems to record information accurately and provide monthly management data.
• Support product development, thought leadership, annual strategy execution, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain contract certainty, fair treatment of brokers and clients, customer focus, self-audit, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Underwriting experience in Financial Lines; professional indemnity, directors and officers, or cyber experience is ideal.
• Relevant professional experience may substitute for underwriting experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work primarily from the Birmingham office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Acturis or another online underwriting platform.
